Western Carolina Veterinary Surgery was founded in 2000 by Dr. David T. Crouch and remains one of the few locally owned referral practices in the region.

As a locally owned practice, our focus is on this community and how best we can serve. Since we are not accountable to shareholders, we are able to maintain the lowest prices possible while keeping up with the highest standards of care. It also frees us to reinvest our resources to help support local shelters and families in need during emergencies.

WCVS is home to two board-certified surgeons specializing in orthopedic surgery. Maintaining our focus solely on orthopedics leads to better patient outcomes with fewer complications. Our dedicated nursing staff is highly trained in all procedures and perioperative management. We offer overnight care following surgery where a nurse stays in-house for monitoring and pain management.
